Description

The BioGuard Basic Shock is a straightforward and efficient way to shock your pool. Its lack of additional additives ensures the potency of chlorine, effectively sanitizing your pool. Unlike other chlorine shocks and tablets, which often drive up costs without fully addressing the problem, this shock will keep your water healthy, providing pool owners with peace of mind and avoiding unnecessary expenses.

Dosage

Add 1 lb per 12,000 gallons of water.

Directions:

Test chlorine level prior to Re-Entry. Re-Entry into treated swimming pools is prohibited above levels of 4 ppm chlorine due to risk of bodily injury.

To Shock Water:

  • Add 1 lb per 12,000 gallons of water into the deepest pool area while filter and pump are not operating.
  • DO NOT pre-dissolve, DO NOT apply through skimmer or chemical feeder, DO NOT mix with other chemicals; a violent reaction may result.
  • Wait at least 15 minutes after product application before entering pool.
  • To prevent damage to pool surface, use an appropriate pool brush to disperse any undissolved granules which may have settled to the bottom of the pool.
  • Operate pump and filter continuously for 4 to 8 hours after product addition.
  • Apply more product after heavy use, high temperatures, or rain. For best results, shock pool weekly.

To Kill Algae:

  • Brush swimming pool surfaces while filter and pump are operating.
  • Add 1 lb per 12,000 gallons directly to the pool water in areas of heaviest algae growth, operate filter and pump for 24 hours.
  • Repeat brushing.
  • Do not enter the pool until the free available chlorine residual is 1-4 ppm.
  • Product can be reapplied after 72 hours if necessary.

To Close Pool:

  • Backwash filter following manufacturer's directions.
  • Apply this product at a rate of 1 lb per 6,000 gallons into the deepest pool area while filter and pump are operating.
  • To prevent damage to pool surface, use an appropriate pool brush to disperse any undissolved granules which may have settled to the bottom of the pool.
  • Apply appropriate winter algaecide after application of this product

Excellent dog balls — safe design and very durable
Style: Fetch Balls (Pack of 3), Size: 2.5 inch
These fetch balls from Amazon Basics are fantastic, and my dog absolutely loves them. One of the biggest reasons I prefer these over other brands is the hole that runs through the center of the ball. This is a very important safety feature: if a dog were to accidentally get the ball stuck in the back of the throat, the hole allows air to pass through. That small detail could literally make a life-saving difference. Aside from the safety benefit, they bounce well, are easy to clean, and hold up to a lot of playtime. They’re firm but not rock-hard, and my dog goes crazy for them. Great value, great quality, and a thoughtful design. Highly recommended for dog owners who want a safer alternative to standard solid rubber balls.

Great ball for heavy chewers
Style: Assorted Balls (Pack of 3), Size: 2.5 inch
Great toy for my Doberman. She chews through tennis balls in about 15 minutes but these are very durable. She likes to chase them but also just chew on them.

My dog loves glowing fetch at night!
Style: Glow Balls (Pack of 3), Size: 2.5 inch
Fantastic. Sturdy. My dog loves them Glow in the dark is great for fetch at night. I keep a flashlight with me because the glow doesn't last really long. But they charge very quickly and are really bright.

Indestructible
Style: Fetch Balls (Pack of 2), Size: 3 inch
These balls are indestructible! We have a lab and a lab mix and they CANNOT damage these balls. They love them for fetch and to just chew on them (slightly squishy, but NO damage). Best toys we have bought for them.
