MLS gaskets have increased strength because they are comprised of multiple layers of stainless steel; which also creates the ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton (a flour elastomer rubber based material that is heat resistant to 250 C/ 482 F). Viton is designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions, and surface finishes. This is a premium looking and feeling drawer organizer. No assembly required and the drawer action is very smooth. The quality of the material is nice and thick and doesn’t feel cheap at all. Very sturdy and you can place pretty heavy objects on top without worry; maybe 20lbs or so. Great size for all your little gadgets or accessories and the clean modern looks sleek on your desktop. Just the price feels a bit expensive.
