Draw reins are commonly used as a training aid to help horses develop proper frame, responsiveness to rein aids, and improved balance. When used thoughtfully, they assist in encouraging the horse to lower the head, engage the topline, and soften into contact, making them best suited for experienced riders or supervised training sessions. 

Designed as an effective training aid for horses, these rope and leather draw reins combine strength, control, and refined craftsmanship to support clearer communication between horse and rider.

The nylon rope section runs smoothly through the bit and down to the girth. Nylon is chosen specifically for its strength and resistance to wear, ensuring consistent performance even with regular training use. This rope mechanism allows the reins to influence the horse’s head and neck position gradually.

The reins include an additional adjustable girth attachment, giving riders the flexibility to attach them either at the centre of the girth or to the side rings via snap hooks. This adjustable setup allows customisation based on the horse’s training level and the rider’s preferred rein action, making the reins versatile for different schooling needs.
