WINSOR AND NEWTON KOLINSKY SABLE BRUSH - ROUND

The very best of watercolour brushes, originally made for Queen Victoria by Winsor and Newton.

Today, Series 7 is still made by hand using only the finest pure Kolinsky Sable hair, in rust-proof, seamless nickel plated ferrules with black polished handles. For larger sizes, each brush is packed into an individual box with a tag included to indicate the name of the Series 7 brush maker who made that particular brush. The brush comes to a crisp point which is maintained during use.

Snap & Spring- the brush snaps crisply back into shape with the right degree of spring to allow the artist superior control between the brush and painting surface.

Flow Control- The colour flows evenly and consistently from the point, with enough colour carrying capacity in the belly of the brush to allow flowing gestural strokes.

For artists who appreciate exquisite quality and longevity, there is no other brush than the Series 7. Today, just as in 1866, the Series 7 is made for those artists who understand that the quality of the brush will be reflected in the quality of their work. Also available - Series 7 Miniature Brushes

Great Story about Native Americans before Europeans
Format: Paperback
I read this book with my kids (11,8) as part of our unit on Native Americans before colonization. They both really enjoyed it. It helped to humanize history for them and show them that although the cultural practices were different, the characters experienced some of the same feelings, relationship challenges, and personal struggles and triumphs that we experience today.

Wonderful book about pre-European North America
Format: Paperback
This is a great book. There's a massive shortage of children's books written by Natives, especially ones that give a picture of pre-European America, and if you've noticed that, THIS IS THE BOOK YOU'RE LOOKING FOR to fill that hole in your home school curriculum/child's library. It's a "boy book," but my seven year old girl got through it without any complaints except that she wanted me to read ahead so I could tell her if anything scary happened. I would say that the plot is a little slow, the main story pauses a lot for background information or traditional stories. But that's not really a complaint, I don't think it's even worth taking off one star. Almost anything by Joseph Bruchac is worth your money, and this one is no exception.

Great book!
Format: Hardcover
My kids love this book. It's not a super long book but long enough to give a fun storyline. Puts a fun spin on cupid.
