Het wordt gebruikt als vulstof en kan tevens oliën absorberen. Het is een veelgebruikt ingrediënt in de voedingsindustrie bij de bereiding van dranken, zuivelproducten, snoep, soepen en vele andere producten.

Het wordt vooral gebruikt om het volume van droge mengsels te vergroten. Aangezien het een zachte smaak heeft functioneert het uitstekend als dispergeermiddel voor droge ingrediënten in bereidingen met weinig vaste stoffen.

Zorbit is een zeer fijn poeder dat gemakkelijk oplosbaar is in koude of warme toestand. Het wordt een vast poeder wanneer je het met olie mengt (2 delen Zorbit op 1 deel olie) en lost volledig op bij contact met een vloeibare ingrediënten.

Zorbit is daarmee zeer geschikt voor het maken van "aarde" of “zand”, zowel hartig als zoet. Meng Zorbit bijvoorbeeld met olijfolie tot poeder en strooi het over salades als een dressing. Het kan ook worden gebruikt als vervanging voor suiker in hartig ijs of sorbets. Het is geschikt voor veganisten, vegetariërs, het is glutenvrij en niet genetisch gemodificeerd.


Hoe te gebruiken:
Zorbit is gemakkelijk oplosbaar in koude of warme toestand. Het wordt een hanteerbaar poeder wanneer het wordt gemengd met olie (2 delen Zorbit op 1 deel olie) en lost volledig op bij contact met een waterig medium.

Voedingseigenschappen: Per 100 gram: Energie: 17kj/4kcal, Vet: 0.15 gram, Waarvan verzadigd: 0.1g, Koolhydraten: 97g, waarvan suikers: 0 gram, Eiwit: 0,5 gram, Zout: 0,2g.


Bewaaradvies: Droog, koel en niet in direct zonlicht bewaren. Binnen 6 maanden na opening gebruiken.

This is the second Michael Kors bag in my collection, and I’m pleased with both of them. These are quality items that are timeless and complement pretty much everything that i own.
