Pé de Ganso Reserva Branco 2022 is een elegante Portugese witte Reserva uit Bairrada, gemaakt van Arinto en Bical. De frisse zuren, lichte romigheid en duidelijke mineraliteit zorgen voor spanning, lengte en verfijning. Perfect bij schaal- en schelpdieren, gegrilde vis, romige risotto en zachte kazen.

Smaak & Aroma 🍋

Fris en Expressief – Stralend bleekgeel van kleur met groene schitteringen. De neus opent met levendige aroma’s van citrusvruchten zoals limoen en grapefruit, aangevuld met witte bloemen en een hint van perzik.

Rijk en Evenwichtig – In de mond combineert de wijn een frisse zuurgraad met een lichte romigheid, dankzij de korte rijping op eikenhout. Tonen van wit steenfruit, amandel en een delicate nootachtige toets maken het smaakpalet compleet.

Mineraliteit en Structuur – Typische mineraliteit van het Bairrada terroir zorgt voor spanning en lengte, waardoor de wijn zowel fris als krachtig overkomt. De afdronk is elegant en droog, met een mooie balans tussen fruitigheid en hout.

Perfecte Combinaties 🍽️

Deze wijn is een uitstekende begeleider van schaal- en schelpdieren, gegrilde visgerechten, romige risotto’s en zachte kazen. Ook als aperitief laat hij zich goed smaken, dankzij zijn frisse en tegelijk complexe karakter.

Serveren rond 8–10ºC. In 2025 heerlijk op dronk, maar kan zich ook nog enkele jaren ontwikkelen.

Comfortable Oxford style shoes

Comfortable shoes that almost slip on each time. The material is a cotton mesh that is very soft and breathes well. I would not recommend walking in wet grass as the water can get through the mesh and make your feet wet. I normally wear size 10 for sneakers and this was true to size. I have extra room in the toe box. I do think the shoe feels a little narrow, but with the mesh area being stretchy, it does not cause any discomfort. The narrowness of the shoe makes it look more form fitting around my feet. Overall the shoe is comfortable while also giving an impression of high quality foot wear. It looks elegant too. The shoes also seem pretty durable given how much they feel like sneakers. The leather at the tip of the shoe does not scuff easily, which is great! Overall good value too!

High End Style Without the Markup

I love the deep navy color of these shoes because it looks even richer in person than it does in the online photos. I usually wear a size 12 and these do have some extra room so could have gone down a half size. The white sole creates a nice contrast that makes the navy color pop. For me, these hit that perfect sweet spot where I look put together at work that is business casual without feeling like I am wearing stiff or formal dress shoes. These are comfortable shoes because the fabric is breathable and keeps my feet cool throughout the day. I especially like that the toe box bends naturally and does not leave ugly permanent creases across the top of the shoe. The padding around the ankle is soft and there is no rubbing even when I am walking a lot. My favorite part has to be the slight stretch around the opening because it lets me kick them off or slide them on without having to touch the laces. This is a total win for my lazy side and makes them my go to pair when I am headed out the door in a hurry. The stitching feels very durable and the overall build quality seems like it will hold up for a long time.
