Hij verandert al vroeg in het boek in een ezel. Wel behoudt hij zijn mensenverstand, maar ingrijpen kan hij nauwelijks meer. Hij wordt verkocht, geroofd en mishandeld, zijn opeenvolgende eigenaren zijn meestal boosaardige egoïsten. Maar als ezel krijgt Lucius ook prachtige verhalen te horen: van geil en spannend tot verheven en stichtend. Beroemd is het verfijnde sprookje van Amor en Psyche in het hart van de roman. Als het Lucius weer lukt mens te worden treedt hij in dienst als priester van Isis. Eind goed, al goed, dus, of toch niet? De gouden ezel is een feest van taal. In een veelzijdige en humoristische stijl vertelt Apuleius het bizarre verhaal van Lucius, waarbij je je geen moment verveelt.

A very good study book
Format: Paperback
A very good study book for NCLEX. It is to the point making it easy to understand. I used it in addition to Mark K notes and audio and passed my NCLEX in the first try, and i did only minimum questions. I never used anything else to study.

Easy to study and understand

This book is easy to read and i tend to recall information better after reading it. It breaks down topics and focused on the important information or a must to know for NCLEX. I will recommend this book to anyone taking NCLEX.

Great book!

I am still in nursing school- but I like to try read and gain knowledge ahead of time. I do this so that with upcoming semesters, the concepts are not completely foreign to me and I’m not blindsided by new topics. I have been following a lot of the YouTube videos with Mark and Dr. Sharon and have found them very educational even while in nursing school. I purchased this book and I really am happy with it. I was hoping it would have offer more info in it , maybe some more facts here and there but it’s basically an answer bank. It does have some small facts but they are not in depth at all- just mainly recall information. It really is based off just past memory from your education. For me personally, I find this book pretty useful to have if you feel confident in all topics- and plan to go for your NCLEX..however, if you’re still a bit rusty on some topics, you won’t really be able to rely solely on this book to brush up on information- not in a manner of depth (which I guess is the point). I think applying his lectures, listening to their YouTube videos and applying this book would make the ultimate go-to. The book alone is wonderful- but it’s simply just answer banks to help recall the info. Which is great if you’re looking for strictly recall.
I was fortunate enough to find his lectures on Reddit along with some of the “yellow pages” from other students. I can apply that with this book and be confident in upcoming tests , as his lectures are incredible.
