ThiEye introduceert met deze Carview 4 de eerste Full Mirror dashcam met Ultra 4K resolutie. Door deze extreem goede beeldkwaliteit worden alle details rondom de auto opgenomen. Naast de goede beeldkwaliteit wordt deze dashcam zeer compleet geleverd met GPS ontvanger en alle benodigde materialen voor het installeren. 

Ultra 4K + 1080p

De ThiEye Carview 4 4K Full Mirror filmt met zeer goede 4K kwaliteit aan de voorkant en FullHD aan de achterkant. Door de Sony sensor zijn de beelden ook in het donker erg duidelijk. De achter camera is waterdicht en wordt met een lange meegeleverde kabel van 7.5 meter verbonden aan de voorste camera en ontvangt ook stroom via deze kabel, er is dus geen extra stroomtoevoer voor nodig.

Full Mirror design

De ThiEye Carview 4 4K is een uniek vormgegeven 2CH dashcam en kan over elke binnenspiegel worden geplaatst met de meegeleverde rubber houders. Door zijn grote 10 inch Touchscreen LCD scherm vormt hij hiermee een digitale binnenspiegel van hoge kwaliteit. De achtercamera wordt volledig en zeer helder weergegeven op het grote scherm en met één 'swipe' op het scherm kan worden gewisseld tussen de voor- en achtercamera.

Met één druk op de knop kan het beeldscherm ook worden uitgeschakeld of in 'stand-by' stand worden gezet waarbij tijd- en datum worden weergegeven. Op deze manier fungeert de Carview 4 4K weer als normale binnenspiegel.

Dashcam + parkeerhulp

Door zijn handige design én achtercamera is de ThiEye Carview 4 4K ook ideaal om te gebruiken als parkeerhulp bij het inparkeren. De achtercamera wordt geleverd met extra kabel aan de voeding die kan worden aangesloten op de voeding van het achteruitrijd licht. Indien de auto in zijn achteruit wordt gezet wordt hiermee automatisch de achtercamera groot in beeld weergegeven samen met parkeerhulp indicators.  

Inclusief GPS module

De ThiEye Carview 4 4K wordt geleverd met externe GPS module die de snelheid en coördinaten van de plekken waarop is gefilmd bijhoudt. Hierdoor wordt de actuele snelheid in beeld weergegeven en kan de afgelegde route later met de software op de PC worden bekeken. De externe GPS module is handig weg te werken door de sticker montage zodat hij nauwelijks opvalt in de auto.

170˚ + 170˚ wideview lens

Deze Carview 4 4K Full Mirror heeft een groothoeklens van 170 graden in beide camera's. Deze zeer grote kijkhoek zorgt ervoor dat een groot gedeelte rondom de auto wordt opgenomen, óók in de parkeerstand.

H.265 HEVC compressie

Deze ThiEye Carview 4 4K slaat de super scherpe videobeelden op de SD kaart met de laatste H.265 HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding). In het kort betekent dit dat de dashcam minder geheugen dan andere dashcams verbruikt terwijl de kwaliteit beter is. De bestanden zijn dus wél van de beste kwaliteit maar nemen niet teveel geheugen in beslag op de MicroSD kaart.

Spraakbesturing

De dashcam is te bedienen door middel van (Engelse) spraakbesturing. De volgende acties kunnen hiermee worden verricht:

- 'Lock the video': Video beveiligd opslaan
- 'Take photo': Foto maken
- 'Turn on screen': Scherm aanzetten

Auto start

De ThiEye Carview 4 4K Full Mirror dashcam begint automatisch te filmen wanneer de auto wordt gestart en stopt met filmen wanneer de auto wordt uitgezet. Je hoeft er dus niet meer naar om te kijken als hij in de auto hangt. 

G-sensor

Door de ingebouwde G-sensor merkt de dashcam wanneer je een ongeluk hebt gehad. Bij een impact worden beelden automatisch beveiligd opgeslagen zodat ze niet meer verloren gaan. Ze kunnen niet meer overschreven worden en ook niet via de dashcam worden verwijderd.

Automatische Time Lapse parkeerstand

De ThiEye Carview 4 heeft een handige automatische Time Lapse parkeerstand functie om de auto te beveiligen als deze geparkeerd staat. In deze Time Lapse modus neemt de camera elke seconde een foto en wordt dit later als video afgespeeld. Dit heeft een kenmerkend karakter waardoor het lijkt doorgespoeld. Door de Time Lapse modus nemen de video's niet teveel ruimte in beslag en kan dus voor een zeer lange tijd worden opgenomen zonder dat de SD kaart vol raakt. In combinatie met de Continue voeding schakelt de parkeerstand automatisch in wanneer het contact van de auto wordt uitgeschakeld en begint de normale opname weer als de auto wordt gestart.

Let op: Voor het gebruik van de parkeerstand is de AZDome Continue voeding Mini USB 3-draads vereist, de parkeerstand kan niet handmatig worden geactiveerd. 

500mAh batterij

De ThiEye Carview 4 4K heeft een relatief grote 500mAh batterij. Met deze batterij is het in theorie mogelijk om de dashcam zonder bovengenoemde continue voeding in de parkeerstand te gebruiken. Echter kan met de 500mAh batterij maar zo'n 5 minuten worden gefilmd zonder voeding. De kans is dus groot dat je een belangrijke gebeurtenis mist wanneer de batterij niet meer goed is opgeladen.

12MP foto's

De Carview 4 4K Full Mirror heeft naast de mogelijkheid om de filmen ook de optie om foto's in 12 megapixels te maken. Handig om bijvoorbeeld na een ongeluk de schade vast te leggen.

Ingebouwde microfoon

De ThiEye Carview 4 4K Full Mirror heeft een ingebouwde microfoon zodat ook geluid wordt opgenomen. De microfoon kan desgewenst ook worden uitgezet.

Datum- en tijdsregistratie

De actuele tijd en datum worden altijd in beeld weergegeven zodat later kan worden aangetoond op welke tijd de betreffende opnames zijn gemaakt.

Handige USB sigarettenvoeding

Deze ThiEye Carview 4 4K dashcam wordt geleverd met een handige sigarettenvoeding met extra USB poort. De extra USB poort kan worden gebruikt voor het opladen van andere apparatuur zoals je mobiele telefoon.

This was a slow moving book. Lots of character pov chapters, lots of superfluous descriptions and endless courtly appearances stalled this book to start. Once you get into the heart of the story, it takes off. Before you know it the book is done. My favorite character is Reyna. She is so strong. She is true to herself. She gets into a lot of trouble with her headstrong ways but it's entertaining. I have high hopes for Lorcan. He is honorable to a fault. Thane had turned out to be better than I thought but i still don't like him. Eislin is useless. Great plot twists at the end. I'm looking forward too book 2.

This was very, very good. The world is vast and characters are complex. There is a good plot with a whole lot going on. This is well written. Good twists and turns and some heart breaking moments. You will love these characters, they have heart and loyalty. I am hoping that there will be several more books. We've yet to see anything from the Sea Court but only a mention of them here and there. The Wood Court was given a quick couple of scenes, and only as far as some warriors, we've yet to enter their court and the Shadow Court, I'm not sure if they will be a force for good or bad, but they definitely will play a much bigger role moving forward. This is primarily the Ice and Air Courts. Told in multiple views, which I loved, it gives you a chance to see things from different eyes. There's alot of political maneuvering and deception. I loved it and will pick up the next book as it becomes available. If you like The Fae and the courts, you should love this. I think the author has mucn in store for us.

After taking a deep breath and taking in that wicked twist of an ending, I have finally composed myself. My first thought when I started this book was that I love Reyna's character. I was intrigued by her connection with her familiar and the Ruin that is plaguing her land. It came as no surprise that she took her sister's place in an attempt to protect her. When they reach the Air Court everything slows down. This is where it was iffy for me. First of all, I like multiple POV's in books however 7 is a bit much. It starts to interrupt the story line. I felt like I was finally making progress connecting with one character, then it was switched to another person. I felt they all had necessary or pertinent information but not necessarily were they all POV worthy. The only other thing that annoyed me was that Reyna constantly was " trapped." She would rush off without thinking, only to need rescuing. She is brilliant in a fight, but she really doesn't think through anything. Lorcan is amazing. I know he might be on the "bad" list, but his background is so interesting. Eislyn(Reyna's sister) is really so sweet, but calculating. I enjoyed her and Thane's dialogue. The author did an amazing job with the imagery in this book. Everything was so detailed it was easy to fall into the scene. I love unexpected twists and while part of the ending I expected, I wasn't expecting how it took place. All in all, I found it very entertaining and I am very invested in continuing this series. Favorite quotes: "The truth may be twisted but never false." "Who was she if she was not the enemy of the Air Court? What was her purpose of she no longer has that?" "In a war-torn land, love was always a lie."
