Verder geschikt voor laminaat, hardhout, plastics, acrylglas, dun plaatmateriaal, gipskarton en -blokken, multiplex en sandwichpanelen. Makita snelwissel gatzaag bi-metaal in diameter 60mm. Door de toevoeging van een 4mm HSS-Co vertanding op de HCS gatzaag is het mogelijk met de gatzaag gaten tot 44mm diepte te realiseren. Het Ezychange snelwisselsysteem maakt het mogelijk snel en eenvoudig naar gatzagen met een andere diameter te wisselen.
