De Amarone wijnen beginnen op de mooiste plekken van Veneto. In een klein gebied ten noorden van de cultuurstad Verona, groeien de prachtige trossen. Voor Villa Loren Amarone Della Valpolicella wordt gebruik gemaakt van drie druivenrassen, welke typerend zijn voor Amarone wijnen. De Corvina, Molinara en Rondinella zijn een legendarisch trio volgens vele wijnkenners. De druiven worden handmatig geoogst. Alvorens ze geperst worden, worden zij eerst te drogen gelegd op bedjes. Hierdoor verliezen ze veel gewicht. Echter hetgeen wat overblijft, zit barstensvol smaak. Een kroonjuweel, zo kunnen wij Villa Loren Amarone Della Valpolicella het beste omschrijven. Het wordt niet voor niets de koningswijn van Italië genoemd. Zowel in de geur als in de smaak geeft deze Amarone wijn je alles wat je vraagt. Je ontdekt nuances van zwart fruit, gedroogde krentjes, zachte pruimen, stevige vanille en uitgesproken eiken. Een winterse wijn, waar je iedereen mee in kunt pakken. Op de tong ontplooit zich een waar paradijs, waar er een hoofdrol is weggelegd voor kersen, bramen, besjes en chocolade. Right on the Money!!
Format: Hardcover
I'm not even half way through this book, but it is remarkably accurate!! Dr. Jeremiah goes through our past 50-60 years, explaining HOW we've gotten to where we are today. We have allowed God and faith to be shunned by society, embracing a more "evolved" way of thinking. It's astounding to read, and reflect upon. We often hear the phrase "end days" and for a long time, I've kind of just nodded in agreement, but this book puts it all in order, and clearly reveals what has taken place, and puts you in the mindset of looking towards the SURE return of Christ in the not so distant future. We are at the stage of Sodom and Gomorrah, and this book will show you why.
I would highly recommend this read for those who are interested in how we got here and where we're at now.

Very relavant for today's times
Format: Hardcover
I sometimes felt isolated when it came to reading the bible and then looking up at the news and seeing the parallels and then I found this book. Then I discovered Turning Points and the best minster I ever listened to. Unfortunately he is in San Diego but thanks to modern technology I can listen to him anywhere and anytime. I'm a history buff, but the stories he pulls from the past are none I had heard. His knowledge base of the bible is unmatched in my opinion. He brings past events, the modern nightmare of the world and the bible all together. You can't put it down. After your done you don't feel scared because you know where your salvation lies. It just feels better when you know someone older and wiser than you sees what you see. Now the book will make the round of a small circle of my Christian friends.

I liked the book because it gave encouragement for these days as well as warning others about the approaching Tribulation. I didn't have any criticisms. I think this is a good book for our times to be read by those who seek to prepare.

Timely message of hope.

This is a timely book for Christians and non-Christians alike due to the anxieties related to the chaos of this present world. Anyone who is asking, " Is this the end?" Can find a lot of information that could
serve to challenge preconceived ideas regarding scripture and it's viability to what we are currently experiencing in this world. It's a book of hope for those who feel hopeless. It offers clarity to those feeling confused. It places all we currently see within a very detailed historical context that allows us to see the big picture as well as connecting history to prophecies regarding the future. Definitely a good read.
