The reissue, sought to replicate the original's iconic tone. This model features the OP07DP chip, a modern operational amplifier that replaced the original LM308 in later productions. Despite some enthusiasts' preference for the LM308, the OP07DP is known for its clean and responsive performance, delivering the Rat's signature aggressive distortion and rich harmonic content. The pedal is housed in a robust steel enclosure with a slanted face for ease of use, and it includes the classic three-knob layout: Distortion, Filter, and Volume. Additionally, it is equipped with ZL (Zhongli) potentiometers, which are commonly used in modern Rat pedals for their durability and consistent performance.
