FeedingOmnivorous. Thrives on a varied diet including:
- High-quality flakes or pellets
- Frozen or live foods such as brine shrimp, daphnia, or bloodworms
- Occasional vegetable matter to enhance color
Peaceful and schooling. Best kept in groups of 6 or more with other similarly sized, non-aggressive fish such as:
- Small rainbowfish species
- Tetras and danios
- Corydoras and other bottom dwellers
Avoid: Fin-nipping or overly aggressive species.
