Al palato è piacevolmente strutturato; i tannini sono ben integrati e la persistenza è molto gradevole.Il Morellino di Scansano DOCG "Rosso di Marte" a firma Ruffino nasce da uve raccolte la seconda metà di settembre e fermentate poi in acciaio; i vigneti, posti su colline affacciate sul mare, crescono su un suolo di medio scheletro e beneficiano di importanti escursioni termiche. Affinato per 9 mesi in acciaio, riporta in etichetta un'icona ispirata alla ricostruzione di uno scudo etrusco, risalente al V secolo a.C., ritrovato in Maremma.
Ottimo in abbinamento alle principali preparazioni della cucina dell'entroterra toscano, si sposa bene con i menu di terra e con le carni in umido.

Nice Coat Not So Great Packaging

Nice coat but packaging needs to be improved. It arrived not properly folded and as a result it was completely wrinkled. Took some work to iron so it looked as advertised. Packaging for such things has to be reviewed.
