The easiest way to add an aggressive stance to your Duramax and allow for larger tire fitment is by adding a leveling kit. Sure, you could merely install replacement torsion keys or even crank the torsion bars, but don't you want to maintain adequate wheel travel and your great ride? If so, you'll want this complete kit from Cognito.

As mentioned, sure, there are a lot of ways to skin a cat when it comes to leveling out your Chevy. However, your front end is an intricate beast that must be dealt with carefully and skillfully to not cause a degradation to ride quality or surrounding suspension components. Fortunately, Cognito knows how to not only keep these important details in check, but also actually increase the strength of your front end.

UPPER CONTROL ARM DETAILS: Made in the USA specifically for leveled and lifted applications where an upgrade is desired to provide better performance, style, and function. The boxed sheet metal arms are CNC robot welded and powder coated semi-gloss black. Cognito alloy series ball joints are included as well as new crush sleeves and polyurethane bushings. Ample droop travel is required for good ride quality and all suspension components to last and work properly. This control arm kit will add performance to the Chevy and GMC truck by correcting the ball joint angle for lifted and leveled applications, increasing droop travel, and also increases caster slightly for better highway speed drivability. NOTE: These control arms are NOT made with provisions for dual shock mounts. If control arms with shock mounts are needed please see alternate sku.

  • Polyurethane bushings
  • Corrected ball joint angle
  • Added caster
  • CNC robot welded
  • Semi gloss black powder coating
  • Made in the USA

SHOCK MOUNT DETAILS: Adds length of the front shocks for leveling applications where Cognito upper control arms and stock shocks are used. This shock mount bracket kit is used to take advantage of the increased droop travel that Cognito upper control arms provide. Factory hardware is used for install.<.p>

TORSION KEY DETAILS: Torsion bar keys are used to set the ride height of the front of the truck and are commonly used in leveling kits, and it is important to set the height appropriately as to leave ample suspension droop travel to maintain a good ride quality. There are several different torsion bar spring rates that GM made and put in these trucks, the rate depending on the model and features of the truck. Some trucks that have a higher spring rate may not need aftermarket torsion bar adjuster keys to obtain the maximum recommended ride height. This kit is only used in leveling kit applications as well as lifted applications when the higher setting of that particular lift kit range is desired like taking a 4" Cognito lift kit to the 6" setting.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Fun with a late blooming omega
Format: Kindle
I like this book. The story is fun, cute, and sexy. There's just a little drama, some excellent, steamy scenes, and a fairly good relationship building storyline. I especially like how all the main characters are a bit older than the usual 20 somethings I tend to see in this kind of book. Having said that, I wish there were more descriptions of the places, as well as the food in the fancy restaurant. I enjoyed the cocktails at the club, so I missed that kind of detail when Gray took Madison on a dinner date. I also wish there had been more interaction between Lucas and Madison, and Lucas and Rian. It felt a bit lopsided, with a focus on Rian, Madison, and Gray. I wish it had been proofread - there are a lot of typos, but nothing too distracting.
