To operate an agricultural spray drone in New Zealand, your organisation needs a Part 102 UAOC from the CAA — and that starts with an exposition.
The exposition writing service is delivered by DroneTrust, developed in partnership with Aerolab and the Agricultural Drone Association. We built an exposition framework specifically for agricultural drone operations in New Zealand, based on years of CAA submission experience and a clear understanding of what the regulator expects from ag operators. Every exposition is written and reviewed by our team, tailored to your specific operation, personnel, and risk profile.
Once you've purchased through DroneTrust, the team works through the full process with you — building your exposition, compliance matrix, Prime Person application, and Part 102 application forms, ready for CAA submission. The CAA approval process currently takes around 8 months, so the earlier you start the better.
The full Exposition Consultation Service is $4,025 inclusive of GST. Agricultural Drone Association members receive the full service for $2,025 inclusive of GST - a $2,000 discount.
