Carema DOC L’Arsin 2022 by Cantina Togliana is a high-altitude Nebbiolo grown on the steep Alpine terraces of Carema, at the northern frontier of Piemonte. Produced from 100% Picotendro, the local biotype of Nebbiolo, this wine reflects the extreme mountain conditions of morainic soils, stone pergolas and fully manual viticulture.

Harvested by hand in early October, fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in small stainless steel tanks, followed by an extended 45–50 day maceration. The wine completes spontaneous malolactic fermentation and ages for 12 months in large 1000L French oak casks before further bottle refinement. It is bottled unfiltered and released in a limited, numbered production of 2,150 bottles.

The result is a precise, elegant and vibrant mountain Nebbiolo — structured yet agile, with crystalline red fruit, alpine herbs and fine, tension-driven tannins.
