By: Brian Rashad FullerFor readers of The Knowledge Gap, Race to the Bottom, and The Inequality Machine, education and equity strategist Brian Rashad Fuller sheds a stark light on America's public schools, the miseducation of students of color, and the action required to make tangible changes and reforms to a failing and racialized educational system.
With a foreword from Harriet Tubman's great-grand nephew, Abdul Tubman.
In a polarizing and racially divided America, what do children of color learn about themselves before they even go to school? How do they see themselves and is that image only exacerbated by spending twelve years in a public education system that perpetuates negative stereotypes? Brian Rashad Fuller personally knows that the impact of low expectations can be devastating, as proved by the “school to prison” pipeline that so many students have experienced. He aims to make a difference in this humanizing and very personal portrayal of what it means to be Black in America’s schools.
As a Black man who has spent his life as a student and an educator, Brian shares his own story of navigating the world, overcoming his family struggles, and eventually entering an educational system that he believes is inherently racist, damaging, and disserving. He exposes the challenges Black students face in elite and predominantly white universities and spaces, dissects “Black exceptionalism” in the schooling experience, and offers a firsthand account of the emotional and psychological impact made by teachers, administrators, policies, practices, lessons, and student interactions. Most Americans are looking for answers on how to improve our education system—as illustrated by the critical race theory debate—but have not fully understood the lived Black experience, until now.
With powerful insight into a thoroughly American institution, Brian offers present-day solutions, and liberating hope, for a centuries-long issue, as well as a galvanizing and radical step forward. It is a book essential to our challenging times.

Very good for the skin
This sebum and honey balm is a jewel. It absorbs very quickly, leaves no greasy feeling and hydration lasts all day. I use it on my face and body. As it is 100% grass-fed, you can see the quality. Goodbye dry and tight skin. The 120g bottle yields a lot. I'm going to replace it

Made in China
I'm sorry but I would have never bought this item if I knew it was manufactured in China. They don't have the quality control we have in the U.S. and that's extremely important to me when using body products and taking supplements.

Elsie approved, no bull, bee sweet.
Smooth as warm butter, not at all greasy, absorbs faster than a sprinting calf, easy on one’s hide, no barnyard smell- more like a field of clover, leaves the skin udderly refreshed and glowing. It’s a honey of a deal and worth it. Silly comments, but all true in this gals opinion and that’s no bull.

Great product!
Style: Deep Moisturizing, Size: 1.76 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I love this stuff! My mom introduced this to me while I was visiting her, and within 3 days of using it I knew I needed to order one for myself. It has no smell, goes on buttery soft, and soaks in well. It is not heavy at all. At night I layer it on thicker and during the day I put a very thin layer on under my makeup. My skin is so much softer and hydrated. I have had small bumps on my cheeks for so long and they were gone within 3 days. My skin looks dewy and soft.
I read reviews of other brands that smelled, were oily, or too heavy. This is none of those things and it is a great price!

Best Beef Tallow Cream I’ve Tried
Style: Deep Moisturizing, Size: 1.76 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Exactly what i was looking for, some of the beef tallow creams have a weird consistency which i don’t love wearing during the day. This cream is perfect for day and night. smells very good, application is perfect not greasy, moisturizing, soft. I love it! 10/10,
