Thermapen Surface with Surface Probe
The Thermapen Surface is part of Thermapen's popular range of classic industrial thermometers. It is coupled with a ribbon surface probe (8mm diameter x 95mm) it is the perfect solution for measuring pipe temperatures.
It has an expansive temperature range spanning from -49.9 to 299.9°C with a resolution of 0.1°C all displayed on a large digital display. Using a button in the battery compartment the resolution can easily be switched to 1°C.
The thermometer will power off automatically after ten minutes, maximising battery life. This feature can be disabled if not required. Both low battery (icon) and open circuit indication are also displayed, when applicable. Two lithium coin cell batteries power each Thermapen classic with a minimum life expectancy of 1500 hours.
The probe conveniently folds back through 180° into the side of the instrument when not in use. The washable casing includes Biomaster product protection that reduces bacteria growth and the ergonomic rubber seal minimises the risk of water ingress, dust or food.
