The armchair was designed for one of the projects closest to Gio Ponti’s heart, the villa of the Planchart collectors in Caracas (1953-57). The architecture reflected the ideas he had gathered during his trips to Latin America in 1952-53.
“This building is dedicated to Anala and Armando Planchart”, Ponti wrote in Domus, “it stands in Caracas, at the top of cerro (a hill) dominating the heights from which you can see the city strung out below," (Caracas stretches down a valley that runs between the highest slopes of the Avila chain, on one side, and these gentler hills, on the other).
Today the armchair, which is like a cozy shell, has a rigid polyurethane frame, a soft polyurethane counter-frame and a cushion, and is upholstered in the Molteni&C textile range, with the option of differentiating the three component parts.

Great Heel Socks

I don't know how they work but it's wonderful. I've had rough heel problems for a long time. I wear these everyday and my heels are not rough. They're not baby bottom smooth, but they are not ever going to be. These heel socks also oncce they are properly positioned snap onto the heel. Properly positioning them is easy when you put them on your foot with the heel cup in the correct orientation.

No more painful cracked heels! These really do work!

These really do work well. This is one of the first winters that I have not experienced painful, cracked heels. They are long lasting, and definitely make my heels smoother and softer after wearing them. For the first few times wearing them I simply went with the moisturizer embedded in them. After a few uses I then covered my heels with Aquaphor Advanced Therapy Healing Ointment. This worked even better, and I would recommend it. I am very glad I bought these. Of note, I have really big feet that are quite wide and the XL are a little snug but not uncomfortably so. I use them overnight, but also have worn them under socks and they work fine.

These ZenToes moisturizing socks are such a smart and effective solution for dry, cracked heels! I really like that they only cover the heels instead of the whole foot—no hot, sweaty toes, which is a huge plus.
They come in a pack of two, and for the price, it’s a great value. I also found that they fit well and stayed in place overnight. They were a bit snug around my foot, but still comfortable enough to wear.
What really impressed me is how well they work. The socks are nice and thick, and after just one use overnight, my heels were noticeably smoother. Even better—the results lasted about a week without needing any extra lotion, which I personally love since I’m not a fan of applying creams.
I would definitely buy these again and highly recommend them if you’re looking for an easy, low-maintenance way to keep your heels soft.
