Featuring ED glass and multi-layer lens and prism coatings for superior image performance, as well as ergonomic features, including adjustable rubber eyecups and a rubber exterior for a firm grip.
Lightweight and Durable DesignThe Nikon Monarch M5 8x42 Binoculars are extremely lightweight for their size, weighing only 630g, making them a great option for taking on hikes and other high-energy outdoor activities. To protect the binoculars, rubber armouring is featured on the exterior for shock resistance and to allow for a firm but comfortable grip. The Nikon Monarch M5 are waterproof for up to 1m for 10 minutes, and fog-free, making them ideal for birdwatching and more in varying weather conditions.

Sharp ImagesImages are bold with magnificent colour due to the incorporation of ED (extra-low dispersion) glass elements. ED glass corrects colour fringing so details are sharp and the user can easily identify their subjects without obstructions. The lenses and prisms of the Nikon Monarch M5 8x42 Binoculars have a multi-layer coating, including a Dielectric high-reflective multilayer prism coating for consistent transmittance across the visible range. A phase-correction coating also ensures every view has high resolution and high contrast. |
Comfortable ViewingWith long-period viewing in mind, the Nikon Monarch M5 8x42 Binoculars features turn and slide eyecups, made out of soft rubber, making it easy for the user to position to the correct eye-point. The multi-setting click stop enables easy adjustment for a custom fit for maximum comfort – guaranteeing comfortable viewing even for glasses wearers. The Monarch M5 can be mounted on a tripod, so birdwatchers and hikers can use a tripod mount or tripod adapter in the middle of the binoculars frame for long-period viewing.
