Beautiful custom made-to-order engagement ring set with a stunning natural sapphire of your choice. Our philosophy at Brockton Gems is to source the most beautiful natural gem stones from the most reputable and ethical sources and set them in classic minimal settings that really lets the natural beauty and colour of the gem shine. The sapphire is set east-west in our classic Brockton Signature floating bezel setting which is low profile, very wearable and allows another band to sit flush against the engagement ring. The half round band is minimal and measures approximately 1.5 mm.

Once your ring has been purchased we will source the perfect natural sapphire and send you photos for your approval. Because each stone is a natural gem stone the carat weight will range from approximately 0.80 carats to 1.0 carats and dimensions and colour and dimensions will vary.  This ring will be custom made for you and takes approximately 3 to 4 weeks.

Sapphires pictured are teal, classic blue and ocean blue. 

Sapphires are one of the best choices for coloured stone engagement rings as they are very durable. The are both tough and hard (9 on the mohs hardness scale) so they are very resistant to chipping and breaks which makes them a very good choice for everyday wear.

GEM STONE
Approximately 0.70 - 1 carat natural sapphire, Oval, 6 to 7 mm x 4 to 5 mm depending on the stone chosen.

MATERIALS
The ring will be custom made in your choice of metal, 14k yellow gold, 14k white gold or 14k rose gold and set with a natural sapphire of your choice.

SIZE
The ring will be custom made in your size.

WEIGHT
The ring weighs approximately 2.30 grams.

APPRAISAL
A copy of the appraisal comes with the ring.

Seems durable - but the scent is not the best

I don't know if I'd call the scent of this "bacon," more like rubber with a hint of bacon. It's very strong. I gave my dog one of the balls & put one in a cabinet where I keep his treats & a few other unrelated odds & ends. I now hold my breath when I open that cabinet b/c good lord, the smell. I'm tempted to just give that one to the dog too, just because it'll air out eventually & then everything else in that cabinet won't smell bad. My dog feels so-so about it. He'll briefly chase after it & chew on it, but loses interest in it pretty fast. My rather hyperactive cat also plays with it from time to time, as he seems to have more interest in most dog toys than the dog these days, so there's that. (Then again, he thinks a wide variety of random items around the house are loads of fun to toss about, so it's possible his opinion is to be taken with a grain of salt. Between the brief periods of one of these balls being chewed on & clawed at, it's stayed completely intact. I think if you have a dog who simply likes to play fetch or chew on rubber balls in general, this one would stand up to the task. But if you're expecting it to be greeted with the enthusiasm as a bacon grease covered ball might be - I'd adjust your expectations.
