Main Street Beale Street Coleus is a tender shade-loving evergreen perennial treated as an annual and grown primarily for its dramatic foliage.  The serrated foliage is a deep vibrant red that doesn't fade or spot in the heat.  Its late summer bloom is non showy and is often removed to maintain foliage display.  Best color in part sun and moist, loose well-drained soils.  

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:   Low maintenance.  No serious pests or diseases.  Watch for spider mites, aphids, and whiteflies.  Wilt may occur with too much sun, while too much shade may make the plant leggy.
