Lots of studies have shown that daytime running lights can reduce incidents and when it gets dark knowing that you wont run out of charge is a godsend.

Hub dynamos are extra awesome on a Omnium because they were designed for larger wheels so will reach maximum brightness at incredibly low speeds on the smaller wheels of a cargo bike. So raather than the light hitting maximum brightness at say 20+km/h the light will reach full power at say 5-7km/h.
