The cover (near new condition with only hard to see minor flaws), magazine with attached rules (new condition with glossy white pages and no marks or writing), color 22"x34" map (near new condition with clean bright colors and only minor flaws), and 140 counters (all 120 counters for Marathon/Granicus are unpunched, nicely centered front & back, and in new condition, though of the 20 errata counters for Operation Elope, some have come loose and the rest are high quality replacements) are in near new to new condition.  This issue includes the 6 page section for Boer War (S&T #205) with variants, scenarios, errata, and design notes.  An extremely hard to find issue of S&T due to the popularity of the game mechanics!  A rare opportunity to purchase four of the five Central Front games and enjoy an outstanding bonus (all were in stock when this was listed).

The six page bonus consists of collected errata, clarifications, and optional rules for all of the 17 games that make up the Battles of the Ancient War Series (which S&T #214 is a part of).  Some to all of the bonus will be sent by email upon shipping your purchase.  All bonus and extras material are available for sale separately if requested.

An all Persian battle issue as the ancient civilization squares up against the Greeks and Alexander the Great in this issue.  Marathon and Granicus uses the popular Battles of the Ancient World system (which has been applied to 17 different battle scenarios and appeared in 2 boxed sets).

"Standard rules are used with specific scenario rules being the Greek charge in turn one which triples their movement thus all hoplite units are able to crash into the Persian ranks on turn one if the Greek player feels the urge - and it is advisable as another rule states the disorganised Persian cavalry cannot move and defend at half strength up until turn 4. Thus the Greek is encouraged to batter through some of the Persian foot and close with the cav before turn 4 if possible.  All in all a fine simulation given the scope of the system rules.

The Persians' only good chance is to resist the Greek hoplites with foot until turn 4 and then try and turn any Greek flank possible by moving his cavalry away and around the Greeks and charging them in clear terrain - if the Greeks allow themselves to be explioted this way of course. So far its 2-1 to the Greeks so its not a totally lost cause for the Persians."  - BoardGameGeeks

Excellent Quality
Size: 11"x17", Size: 11"x17"
This paper is the only paper I have ever tried with my sublimation printer. I get the most vibrant colors with every transfer. I have not experienced any fading even after washing multiple times. I have purchased this paper in letter size, 11x17, as well as 13x19 for use on welcome doormats. I have not been disappointed with any. The paper feeds through my printer without issue whether I load a single sheet, or multiples. So far, I've used it to sublimate on dishtowels, garden flags, welcome mats, t shirts, sweatshirts, and mugs. I am always happy with the finished product. I highly recommend this sublimation paper, and it can usually be found at a great price. I advise you to stock up when you see a sale

Best sub paper!
Size: 8.5"x11"
This is actually my second box of this paper I purchased. I use it that much! I like it that much! It works easily through my Epson 2850. The sub ink transfers to this paper with vibrant colors before pressing. I like the ASub print on the back to help me load the paper correctly in my printer. The ink does not bleed through the paper. I like that this paper comes in a plastic bag and in a box. This is helpful to keep the moisture out of the paper. The paper is durable as I try to manipulate on my substrate.
