An additional, 6.25" wide, cedar slat creates the center of the tray for strength and support, and the 1.375" diameter hole here makes mounting the unit simple. Attach the included Erva Mounting Plate for 1" Outer Diameter Poles to this center beam, and ensure the sleeve aligns with the hole on the feeder tray. Slide the mounting plate and platform over your existing 1" outer diameter pole (not included), and use the thumbscrew to keep the assembly perfectly in place.
