The outside of this hat has been hand cut from a black white herringbone linen weave. The eggplant band is made from a strong basket weave cotton. I hand cut my peak from yellow ocher linen and reinforce it with a leather board inside, then finish it off by top stitching on my leather machine. These antique vegetable ivory buttons was chosen for this cap is from the early 1900s. Finished on the top with a 2 hole leather button.

The lining is cut from a 100% light weight sturdy cotton which makes the cap very breathable and eliminates hat hair, due to the natural choice of materials.

This X large size hat will fit comfortably someone who’s head measurement is 23 1/2”.
