In late 2011, Ford decided to discontinue these tanks. At Aeromotive, we saw an opportunity to reproduce these tanks. Not only can we offer reproduction 03 04 Cobra tanks, but we can also modify the tooling in the production process
In 2003. Ford developed a specific tank for the 03 and 04 Mustang Cobras. This tank looked like a normal tank from the outside, but featured one of the finest internal baffling systems we?ve seen from an OE tank to date. In late 2011, Ford decided to discontinue these tanks. At Aeromotive, we saw an opportunity to reproduce these tanks. Not only can we offer reproduction 03-04 Cobra tanks, but we can also modify the tooling in the production process to offer this same tank to fit all Fox Body Mustangs. And that is exactly what we did. But we took it one step further. We built specific A1000 and Eliminator Fuel Pumps that bolt right into top of these tanks. Then, we built a complete system to make it one part number that gives you everything you could possibly need to install a complete Aeromotive Fuel System into your Fox Body. These Fox Body Stealth tanks give you the best performance possible from a stock appearing tank, and our proven A1000 or Eliminator fuel pumps built right into the tank. Choose from either pump and you can now bolt in a fuel tank into your Fox that appears stock, but features an innovative baffling system, a built in fuel pump capable of supporting almost any HP demand and a pre-pump filter. These tanks and systems are a direct bolt-in for 1986 to 1998 ? Ford Mustangs. Although the Fox Body began in 1979 and carried all the way through 2004, some modifications are necessary for these system to be direct bolt-ins. See notes below on year specifications. I bought these for an alcove. The brackets came in great condition. I didnt notice any scratched.
Mounting… the brackets are not centered on the wall, but are centered on the studs. I cant do anything about the stud placement.
I bought a 2x8x10 board and cut it into 40 in sections. After placing the brackets on the wall the boards fit beautifully in place. (I used the long stud screws that came with the brackets)
I havent screwed the boards to the wall (those screws also included) and may not. I like being able to pull a board out and run cables behind, if needed. I think the boards are sturdy enough that I wont have an issue with tipping, since the right most stud is at the corner of the wall.

This 10" Shelf Brackets come with all different kind of hardware to install. For drywall, concrete, wood, very smart idea from the seller. You don't have to run to a hardware store for that. I thought it was fantastic idea to help the customer. The Brackets look very strong and finish is great.

Very heavy duty shelf brackets. Good quality.

When they say Heavy duty they mean it!! These brackets are very strong. I would use them to hold a large shelf maybe even one that is wide like 4 inches. Not suitable for what I was envisioning. I just need a simple lightweight shelf and this is way to heavy. Will need to attach to stud or use an anchor. I should have paid closer attention to the description. These come with different types of anchors and one even says it can be used on brick. I believe it.
