This set is simple and beautiful, durable and practical; so characteristic of the area. The necklace features a wilderness scene with a single bear and mountains in the distance. The pendant is topped with a Labradorite stone and hangs on a hypoallergenic, strong and low maintenance 18 inch stainless steel chain. (Just message me if you need a different length chain)

The earrings are simple and sweet Labradorite stones that occasionally give a blue or iridescent flash. They hang about one inch from the ear on silver ear wires.

Maine is so diverse with the coast and mountains. The Labradorite represents the cold and beautiful sea and the pendant reminded me of the many black bears in the area. There are over 30,000 black bears in New England. One interesting fact is that black bear cubs are born with blue eyes that turn brown after their first summer.
