De hoofdhandgreep is draaibaar en de extra handgreep is op 3 posities monteerbaar voor een optimale greeppositie, ook bij het doorslijpen. De beschermkap is zonder gereedschap verstelbaar en tegen verdraaien beveiligd. De aanloopstroombegrenzing met zachtaanloop voorkomt het activeren van de zekering bij de start.

De Metabo VibraTech (MVT) technologie integreert een dempingssysteem en extra handgreep voor trillings-reductie ter bescherming van de gezondheid. De Metabo-veiligheidsschakelaar voorkomt per ongeluk inschakelen en de afschakelkoolborstels beschermen de motor.
