This guide is intended to help you get started on your journey, there are no hard and fast rules! The key is to offer variety and add flavor early on in the journey. You can start with any food you prefer, so long as it is safely prepared.
Each recipe provided will show you how to serve the food as a puree and as a finger food. You can choose to do both at the same time, offering the puree and the finger food version at the same time or you can choose to start with only purées or only finger food at first.
The meal plan provides a step by step guide for starting your baby on solids and shows you how to prepare first foods, add flavour and start ticking off those 100+ first foods to give your baby to as much variety as possible.
